Weddings For Warriors: Honoring Service, Strengthening Marriages, and Creating New Beginnings

At Origins Ranch, we believe that love, commitment, and sacrifice deserve to be honored in the most meaningful way. Weddings For Warriors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back to those who have given so much—our combat-related Veterans, disabled Veterans, and Active Duty service members. Through this charity, we are raising funds to provide these heroes and their spouses with the wedding of their dreams, while also ensuring they have the tools to build a healthy, thriving marriage despite the unique challenges of military life.

A Mission Rooted in Love, Service, and Support

Founded by Barry Carew, owner of Origins Ranch, Weddings For Warriors is more than just a wedding charity—it’s a movement dedicated to strengthening military families. The sacrifices these men and women make for our country often come with long-term challenges, including mental health struggles, PTSD, combat stress, and relationship difficulties. Our mission is to empower and support these couples by ensuring they receive essential premarital counseling tailored specifically to the realities of military relationships.

How It Works

    1.    Mental Health & Marriage Readiness Counseling

    •    Every service member and their future spouse will be required to attend premarital counseling designed to help them navigate life with a combat veteran, disabled veteran, or active duty deployable service member.

    •    These sessions focus on communication, conflict resolution, mental health awareness, and strategies for a strong marriage amid the demands of military service.

    2.    Wedding Grants & Fully Funded Ceremonies

    •    Upon successful completion of the counseling and application process, couples can receive:

    •    Grants that go toward the overall balance of their wedding at Origins Ranch.

    •    Fully funded weddings for select recipients, based on their time in service, combat history, and the review of our charity’s board of directors.

    3.    Expanding Support for Military Families

    •    Weddings For Warriors doesn’t just stop at weddings—we are developing programs to assist other military-related families in strengthening their marriages and navigating service-related relationship challenges.

    •    By addressing domestic struggles, service-related PTSD, and the emotional toll of deployment, we aim to reduce military divorce rates and foster healthier, happier relationships within our armed forces community.
